1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bluemap Citadel platform (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not access or use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time, & your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Services

Bluemap Citadel provides a digital real estate platform that connects property owners, investors, buyers, and tenants. Our services include property listings, investment opportunities, escrow facilitation, messaging between parties, and property management tools. We act as a technology intermediary and do not directly own, sell, or manage properties unless expressly stated.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the Platform. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings or investment information.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or Platform systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without written permission.

5. Listings & Transactions

Property listings are created by users and are their sole responsibility. Bluemap Citadel reviews listings for quality and compliance but does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing content. All transactions facilitated through the Platform, including escrow payments, are subject to our Escrow Policy. We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these terms.

6. Payments & Fees

Certain features of the Platform may involve fees, including but not limited to listing fees, transaction commissions, and premium subscription charges. All fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur them. Payments processed through the Platform use secure, third-party payment providers. Refund policies are governed by the specific terms of each transaction.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the property of Bluemap Citadel or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our express written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bluemap Citadel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms of Use or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
